Terms of Service

The basics of using Offline.

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Offline Android application (com.offline.app) and related public website pages. This is product documentation for Google Play readiness — not a substitute for legal advice.

01

About Offline

Offline helps you temporarily block apps you choose so you can stay more intentional with your attention. You decide which apps are protected.

Offline is currently provided as beta software and may contain bugs, interruptions, or incomplete functionality.

02

Using the service

By installing or using Offline, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Offline.

Offline does not currently require an account or login. Features may change as Offline develops.

03

App blocking and digital wellbeing

Offline is a digital wellbeing tool. Blocking may cause you to miss notifications or delay access to apps you selected. You are responsible for which apps you protect and for how you use Offline.

Offline is not an emergency, medical, parental-control, or enterprise device-management product.

04

Accessibility permissions

Offline’s core feature depends on Android Accessibility Services to detect when a protected app becomes active. You must grant and manage this permission yourself in Android Settings. When Accessibility is off, Offline protection is paused.

Offline is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. See our Accessibility Statement.

05

Anchor

Offline may use the Offline Anchor — a physical NFC tag — as an on/off switch for protection. Anchor identifiers are used locally by the app. The Anchor is a convenience control — not a guarantee of uncloneable or cryptographically secure hardware.

06

Purchases, returns and refunds

The Offline Anchor is sold on this site as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing renews. The price shown includes delivery within India.

The Offline Android app is free to install and is not sold. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card details.

You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before it ships, and you may return a delivered Anchor within 30 days. Returns must be requested by email first. The Anchor itself is guaranteed against defects for 2 years from delivery; that guarantee applies to the hardware and is not a commitment to keep the beta app available for that period. The Returns & Refunds policy sets out the process and timelines in full, and forms part of these Terms. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

07

Beta software

Offline is in beta. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or behave differently across devices, OEM skins, and Android versions. Battery optimizations and system updates can affect reliability.

08

User responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the apps you select and for how you use Offline.
  • You must grant and manage Android permissions yourself.
  • Do not use Offline to harm others, circumvent laws, or monitor another person’s device without lawful authority and consent.
09

Third-party platforms

Offline may be distributed through Google Play and may rely on Android system services. Those platforms have their own terms. Offline is currently offered for Android; do not assume iOS availability.

10

Intellectual property

Offline’s branding, design, and original code are owned by the Offline publisher unless otherwise noted. Open-source components remain under their respective licenses.

11

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms when legally permitted.

12

Disclaimer

Offline is provided “as is.” Blocking may not work perfectly on every device, OEM skin, Android version, or app. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Offline disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Offline and its publishers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed notifications from blocked apps or failure to block an app.

14

Termination

You may stop using Offline at any time by uninstalling the app and revoking permissions in Android Settings. We may restrict access if use violates these Terms or applicable law.

15

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date.
